Nestled in a green residential area of Kiev, the hostel offered spectacular views of the city and easy access to the Poznyaki Metro Station-ideal for exploring the vibrant streets of Kiev. The fully equipped kitchen allowed for culinary adventures, while the nearby local market provided a taste of authentic Ukrainian flavors. The shared bathrooms were well-maintained, and the dormitory room, though basic, featured a cozy desk and wardrobe. Despite its average quality, the hostel's peaceful surroundings and close proximity to nature made for a serene stay. A staff member even kindly escorted me to the metro station, showcasing Ukrainian hospitality at its best. For a budget-friendly stay in Kiev's tranquil Darnyckyj district, Freedom Hostel is a charming choice for travelers seeking simplicity and a touch of local charm.
